Santa Teresa Costa Rica is located in the Province of Puntarenas, 93 miles (150 kilometers) west from the capital city of Costa Rica, San Jose. There are more than two flights each day during the peak seasons and air travel only takes about 35 minutes. It takes less than an hour drive from the Tambor airport to Santa Teresa. Santa Teresa can also be reached through an affordable public transport that connects nearby locations of Cobano, Montezuma and Mal Pais. Average travel time is four hours and it is a great way to see the countryside of Costa Rica.

There are no high- rise buildings yet in Santa Teresa and you can have full view of the shore from the hills of Malpais and Cabo Blanco Nature reserves.
